SAFETY RULES
 

  All dogs must be SECURELY LEASHED at all times.
A dog off leash can lead to a number of safety problems (for themselves, other dogs and humans).

  DO NOT APPROACH a dog without getting its handler's consent.
They may appear friendly; but we do not want to find out otherwise by a bad experience!!

  CONSIDERATIONS... for swim appointments

All dogs must be THOROUGHLY BRUSHED.
We have a grooming tool and a "Furminator" for you to use if you are not able to brush at home. We ask you spend 20-30 minutes "brush time" prior to your appt. time. Keeping the pool as clean as possible helps keep your costs down, as pool maintenance is our greatest expense. We also ask that the dogs have been recently bathed.

A flea infested dog will be cancelled as the fleas will climb onto other swimmers.
If there are any open wounds please discuss with the staff. We should be ready to swim as soon as stitches are removed after most surgical procedures. Severe skin allergies/conditions may not be permitted; we will evaluate your dog.

Please toilet your dog prior to arriving at your appointment.
We want to respect our generous homeowners yards; take time to walk your dog or allow sniffing time at home before arriving for your session. We ask you walk your dog before coming to your appointment to also respect the neighbors (yards) of the pool sites.
Ask where it is appropriate onsite if you haven't been successful prior to arriving for your swim. We have doggie deposit bags should you need them! Be aware; dogs need to urinate quickly after their swim! Contrary to popular belief, they do not urinate in the pool.

  POOP ALERT!!!!!!!
Each time a dog has a poop accident there is a $100 charge to decontaminate the pool water. We may have to cancel clients for the remainder of the day and run the pool system for 24 hours. It is of utmost importance that a dog has pooped prior to their swim. (Make every effort to make this happen. If you know it is a problem consider skipping the morning feeding on swim day---one suggestion....for more ideas ask staff!)

PRICING

 

Initial session is $75 to $100 (This includes the phone consultation and 30 min session).

Additional sessions:

Underwater Treadmill: $70/session - If you pre-pay for a series of 6 sessions it is $360 ---$60/session.

Assisted Swimming: $60/session - 30 min. swim. - If you pre-pay for a series of 6 sessions it is $330 ---$55/session.

Swimming Laps: $50/session - 30 min swim. - If you pre-pay for a series of 6 sessions it is $270---$45/session.

 

What to Bring for swimming

  Your Dog (most important)

  Your Dog's Leash

  A Towel for your Dog ( and maybe for you)

  Your Dog's FAVORITE Toy! (We have a good collection onsite)

  Bring your rain gear if it is raining. It may be raining where you are but not at the pool! RAIN OR SHINE we swim! We will call to cancel if there is thunder/lightning.

  We have treats (all healthy and low calorie) readily available

Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Point Loma and Tierrasanta locations; Wednesdays and Saturdays at our Rancho Penasquitos location.
 

 
Note our 24 hour cancellation policy
All of our time is valuable.  You will be charged for your session if you give less than a 24 hour notice.
We often have a waiting list and another dog may be able to utilize your cancelled time slot.

(We realize emergency situations occur and certainly will not charge under these circumstances)

 


Please do not disturb our generous homeowners by ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door.

  •   Off the 15 N; take the Poway Road Exit toward Rancho Penasquitos Blvd; Keep left to take ramp to Rancho Penasquitos Blvd.
  •   Turn Left on Paseo Montril
  •   Turn Right at stop sign onto Cijon Street. It is the house on the corner/1st house on your right.. Enter through the gate on the left side of the house.
  • If travelliing from North County and on 56 E ; Take Rancho Penasquitos Exit 8 and turn Right on Rancho Penasquitos; 1/2 mile turn Right on Paseo Montril and right on Cijon.

From 5 South take the Seaworld Exit. Becomes Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Stay straight onto Nimitz.

Turn right onto Chatsworth, left onto Catalina. 1st right Point Loma Ave. Left at Santa Barbara at stop sign.. Slight right on Novara St (just past Tivoli) Left on Osprey.

Drive through the gate to park. You will need to get the gate code from Trish prior to your appointment.

 

From 5 North Exit 20 (8 WEST to the beaches) toward Nimitz. Turn right on Chatsworth and follow directions above.

NOTE: NAVIGATION SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK IN THE AREA. Look up directions before leaving home.

 

DIRECTIONS FOR OUR TIERRASANTA LOCATION

4883 Casals Place, San Diego CA 92124

This central location is accessible from a number of different routes depending on where you are driviing from. Please use Mapquest/your navigational system for the best route for you.

It is the Clairemont Mesa Exit off the 15 or 163

Go through gate at left side of the house.
